Symposium
Great news for everyone involved in educating future veterinary nurses!
Registration for the annual VETNNET Symposium 2026 opens IS OPEN: register HERE
This year, the symposium will take place in the beautiful city of Prague, on September 17th and 18th, 2026—an inspiring setting for two days of learning, sharing, and connecting.
The theme for this year is:
“Diversity in Veterinary Nursing Education: teaching for every talent.”
A timely and relevant topic reflected throughout a rich and engaging programme.
Participants can look forward to:
-
Inspiring keynote speakers sharing their expertise on teaching diverse groups of students: think in the line of ‘Behavioural design and nudging’, ‘accessibility of practical skills assessments’ …
-
Interactive and enjoyable workshops on both days, offering practical tools and ideas to take home and use to your advantage
- Updates on key VETNNET-followed projects, including The Yellow Raincoat Initiative and VETRISE
- Contributions from ACOVENE, providing insights into accreditation and quality assurance developments
In short, this symposium offers a unique opportunity to gain fresh perspectives, expand your professional network, and bring new inspiration back to your teaching practice.
VETNNET organises an annual symposium, hosted by one of its members. The symposium offers a variety of workshops dedicated to teaching and learning and are of interest to teachers, managers and facilitating organisations. This gathering is the highlight of the year for VETNNET and also offers plenty of opportunity for socialising and networking during the pleasant dinners and excursions. You will also have the possibility to sample the teaching-style of the host college.
